Between research and clinic
Degree in Medicine and Surgery
Obtained in Padua, in 2006, with an experimental thesis at the end of six years already oriented towards psychiatric studies entitled "Body Dysmorphic Disorder: personality, temperament and clinical scales in an Italian plastic surgery setting".
Psychiatrist and psychotherapist
Four years of specialization in Padua where I dealt with short-term psychotherapy, psychiatric outpatient clinic for students, in addition to psychiatric training.
During my years of specialization I also dealt with the mental health of doctors with the international project Houpe.
Finally, my experience in the UK (ReDNet Project) began with my final thesis on NPS ("New Substances of Abuse: results from the first web-based survey of the ReDNet Project on an Italian sample of healthcare workers”).
University of Hertforshire
In the following years I have always maintained my collaboration with the UH and Prof. Corazza, as Assistant Researcher and Senior Research Fellow, participating as a speaker at international conferences including the various editions of the International Conference on Novel Psychoactive Substances
Lime Tree Park Clinic
From 2011 to 2025 I worked as a clinical psychiatrist in this important clinic, in particular in the Dual Diagnosis Unit, a department that welcomes patients with various addiction problems from all over the country.
PhD
In 2016 I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Hertfordshire, a doctorate in research on NPS with the project
“Evaluating and expanding knowledge of health professionals on the consumption and adverse consequences of Novel Psychoactive through innovative technological tools”.
Garden City Clinic and Quipsico
My clinical activity has continued in recent years by actively collaborating with these two entities, with which I share clinical passion, scientific curiosity and commitment to dissemination.
Addiction Science Lab
In 2023, thanks to the University of Trento and the Department of Behavioral Sciences, we created a new multidisciplinary research space, with the aim of not only investigating addictions, but also proposing prevention models.
