Clinical activity

I worked as a clinical psychiatrist in the Dual Diagnosis department of the Parco dei Tigli Clinic (PD), where patients from all over Italy are welcomed through collaborations with the network of national territorial services, proposing integrated multidisciplinary paths in order to address addictions.

In psychiatric consultations I am interested in psychopathology and neuroscience, in particular motivation, sleep, psychological well-being and mental health, with a great attention to the body, psychomotor activity and performance.

In my clinical activity I encounter not only problems related to the more classic substances of abuse (such as cocaine, alcohol and benzodiazepines) but also the use of Novel Psychoactive Substances (NPS), PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs) and new phenomena related to addictions (such as Gaming and Exercise Addiction)

In achieving mental balance, motivation to change is the fundamental starting point, both in our daily lives and in dealing with various psychopathologies.
